Good prospect in Business Units Opto-semiconductor and Specialty Lighting, offer stable working environment. Employees are competent in general, management encourages entrepreneurship and innovation.
Cons
General Illumination: used to be a good company to work for until CEO was on board in 2011, lack vision to bring company forward. Frequent organization restructuring hurts work force moral, people think short term and focus on personal agenda which is to get the most (compensation) from the company while searching for exit strategy. Lost competitive edge in the market as core competence is diminishing.
