Lockheed Martin benefits

I was a temp so I did not get any benefits through them. I am also a retired veteran so I had my own benefits package. No vacation time only days off for the weekend.

The benefits overhaul for 2018 is a turn for the worse. Now we have High Deductible Health Plans (choice of three levels), all of which have higher deductibles and higher premiums than our previous options. We no longer get unlimited sick time or personal business time off. Used to be unlimited so long as you don't abuse it. Now we have 40 hrs a year of PTO (combined sick time/personal business). The personal business requires manager approval.

I think the best thing for me is that i am on a team that allows work from home and flexible schedules although that is not consistent across LM. The 9/80 schedule is also really great to have. I think on the negative side, you can get pigeonholed and development/promotion opportunities are hard to find, leaders seem to get all of the development and entry level folks, thus creating an unhealthy environment.

High Deductible Health Plans are awful and most good doctors do not accept the insurance. Vacation time is great. Accrue 10 hours every month plus 40 hours granted at the beginning of every year.

Along with time off, vacation and holidays, and 401K. Lockheed Martin has an extensive discount program. These discounts are for almost anything, cars, computers, rentals, glasses, etc.

The worst health insurance I have ever been a part of or heard about. Literally better anywhere else.

Vacation, 401K, paternity leave, discounts, health care nsurance, long term disability, short term disability, flex time, Friday off, tuition assistance, dental, vision, mental health, continued education.

I like the unlimited sick leave, 3 weeks a year paid vacation with another flex week plus holidays.

Medical benefits are really bad. They started going with a high deductible plan with not even a penny to assist in paying the deductibles. If you care about healthcare plans, there's too many companies to consider to want to come to this place.
