Lockheed Martin benefits

Good benefits in general, though health care, like about everywhere else, was going up each year. I used to like that when you said you worked for Lockheed Martin, Aetna would jump. They still do take good care of LM employees but my last experience did not go well. Though I suspect it had much more to do with the doctor's billing office than anything LM or Aetna were responsible for. 401k and match were good and on top of that another 5% in a different tax-deferred fund...which I think just went up to 7%. Don't recall exactly.

Good 401K, good vacation amounts

Best - Can go to doctor of choice. Worst -More healthcare costs have gone to employees.

10 paid Holidays per year and 40 hours paid Sick Days. Health Insurance was a bit costly though.

Company stock keeps going up.

Best: flexible hours Con: pay is okay

best thing, small percentage added to 401k after match. worst thing, hard to use sick leave

The benefits package is on par with what you will see in the market today so this will not be the deciding factor on why an individual works here
