Is sales engineering / solutions consulting a possible career path for someone without a degree in comp sci or a technical background? Do I just need to get into a junior SE/SC role at a solid tech company like Salesforce or ServiceNow? Or am i basically screwed because I don’t have a technical background?

    I went from consulting to a Solutions Architect position with little actual background in tech. The role lends itself very well to someone with consulting experience. I would look at getting background on the roles you're applying for & maybe get some side projects or certs in that space.
