It seems that with some of the successful applicants we saw on the operational floor, the most difficult question they got asked was their name. They ask B.S. questions to see what your reaction would be and it really doesn't matter because the people doing the interviews are usually people who failed at being dispatchers and too training and interviewing jobs.

In order to pass the In-person assessment, my recommendation is to watch the 911 call videos on YouTube and try to grasp as much info. as possible because that's what happens at the examination and the hardest part is to understand and absorb maximum possible info. out of the diverse natured calls.
