I applied online via Linkedin due to the name of the company. After 1 or 2 days, the recruitment reached me and asked for a phone call. In the phone call, she basically measured my motivation and asked my salary expectation. After a couple of days, I was invited to their office to have a 1:1 interview. The technical interview part was good not so hard and including typical C# questions with two interviewers. After the technical interview, I had another interview with the project manager and HR together. It was mostly about the soft skills but including some weird questions. For example;
- Do you speak Polish? How long you would like to stay in Poland? Are you willing to learn polish?
One more thing, the manager told me that if I join the team, they had to switch their meeting from Polish to the English. Anyway, in the end, the HR told me that the process will two weeks and in meanwhile, if you receive an offer so you can accept it(Anathor weird thing ). After 2 weeks, I received a call for the recruiter that she says the offer what we can do is way less than my expected amount(4k lower than my expected salary). I declined it immediately. To be honest, I'm so disappointed with this company and the process of recruitment. I'm just asking this:
If you are not able to pay the candidates expected salary, then why would you proceed with the recruitment?
