Interview
The interview process was challenging, but I expected it to be. First, I answered essay-type questions and completed a situational judgement test. Then I completed three assessments: verbal and diagrammatical reasoning which were okay, and numerical, which was more difficult. Don't be fooled by the practice assessments... they are much easier than the actual assessments in my opinion. Just practice and you'll be fine. After this, I did a video interview. Talking to a computer is very strange! I think I had 9 questions in total. You have 30 seconds to prepare for each one, which goes very quickly. But try to relax, be confident and succinct. After this, we had a group assessment for which I had to travel to Bolton- a very long way from where I live! I was very nervous for this aspect, and unfortunately I did not go any further in the process. Interestingly, we had different topics in our group interview than any other reviews that I had seen. So be prepared to present on any topic! The Interviewer was very nice, but perhaps a little bored when some people spoke, I saw her gaze out the window, lost in thought, multiple times. Also, Aldi should definitely contribute to travel expenses. Overall a positive experience though.

Interview
Video Interview. Despite having the despaired skills and similar experience for this role, I was unsuccessful. I am 31 and I feel that this business highly age discriminates during their recruitment process. The people they are employing have no experience and lack people skills and have the cheek to say your skills don’t fit their business.
