Online Application was straight forward enough.
Got a letter inviting me to the group assessment day. The GA lasted 4 hours and included;
ice-breaker, quick 2 minute talk to the group(14) about yourself.
Group debate (50 mins) general debating exercise
individual talk (2 mins) about any topic you liked.

Interview
- you complete an online application and various tests (statements and select the one which is most closely describes you and your work situation) that will assess your judgement (best and worst answer) and your analytical skills. ( it took me almost 3 hours)
- Then you get an email from Aldi recruitment to access the Saville Consulting Oasys Platform and you are invited for a Swift Analysis Aptitude (The assessment consists of verbal, numerical and diagrammatic sub-tests) - Time limited

-Please demonstrate when you have displayed impressive levels of dedication
-A leader behaves in a possitive co-operative manner encouraging their employees to use their initiative and intelligence. Please explain why you think you have effective leadership skills
-What is your personal experience of Aldi? Outline your initial impressions
- What do you know about Aldi business model (operations, market pressence, trading performance)?
- Why do you want to be An area manager for aldi ?
-Porvide an example of a significant setback which tested your resilience

Interview
Started with a situational judgement test followed by an application which included many questions; Achievements outside of academic study, demonstrate levels of dedication, show you have effective leadership skills. Then online tests for maths, non verbal reasoning and literacy test. After this followed a video interview. The next stage is a group assessment which I have not taken part in yet.
