I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2014
Interview
Attended college job fair, got info on dinner+info session. Attended dinner. Got invited for first round interview at my college where it was 1 on 1 interview. 1-3 weeks later got email asking me when I could be flown to DFW to interview and visit district headquarters. Here I met other intern and full time candidates and we each interviewed with 3-5 different employees in one and one settings.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (South Windsor, CT) in Jan 2015
Interview
The first round of interviews was a face to face interview with two different ALDI employees. The second interview they took me to a store location where the DM walked me around the store and the ins and outs of the job. After that they took me back and 5 guys interviewed me a once. It was fast pace rapid fire questions. I am assuming to see how you handle questions under pressure.

Interview
Very intense. They really want to get to know you to see if you're a fit. looking for very type A personality. Want single minded employees with no outside distractions. It seems like it could be a great career opportunity if you are not interested in having a good work/life balance. That seems typical for the industry.
