I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2015
Interview
First I applied through my university...afterwards I got a call back from them requesting an interview on campus...all the questions during the interview were behavioral questions. Things like, "tell me something about you that's not on your resume".. " you are a finance major, why aldi?" I wasn't nervous at all but I felt like the recruiter wasn't interested since all my experience was investing, financial services, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Rochester, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
They came to my school to recruit and I sent in my resume before hand. I was invited to an information session with one of the director of the division. In the first interview, he asked many questions about my background, education, and work experience. For the second interview I went to the division headquarters and met all the directors. We had lunch with two district managers. They were really nice and it was a very good learning experience.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ALDI (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
The process was very informal a 15 minute on campus interview. He asked me to run down my resume and explain each part of it to him. During this process he interrupted me 4 times telling me that I'm running out of time. He was extremely rude and would not acknowledge me when I tried to shake his hand for the first time. I did not receive an offer which was no surprise. Even if I would have received an offer I would declined just based off of his behavior.
