Small maths test, they left the room. 10 questions,fairly easy, interpreting graphs, working out percentages and addition.
Explanation of next process,if successful,you would be called in for 'Aldi Experience',(again booked online) along with other candidates, comprising Health & Safety briefing, double checking all your personal details, checking uniform sizing, if you have any holidays booked, when the next training session will start based on notice period you need to give your employer, then about 90 minutes or so on shop floor.
Was paired up with experienced assistant, decarded and tidied up shelves in several areas,used the cardboard bailing machine. On the go the whole time (I had booked mine for the evening after a full 10 hour shift at present employment), but it shows you the pace and style of Aldi. Other staff were busy but happy, and all said they enjoyed working there. Management check in on you to see how you are coping. Got my conditional offer of employment through by email before I got home.
Offer is based on having national insurance number, bank account details, 2 references, and next of kin details being provided. They will also carry out a disclosure (pvg) on you to check for any convictions.
