I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Luton, East of England, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
Group assessment- situational task work in a group to prioritise how best to manage your time and ensure you are working in a team successfully. From this the manager decides which candidate will move on to the next phase . Be really vocal about your opinion and don't be scared to challenge group decisions if you believe you are right.

Question 1
How would you prioritise your duties in the work place?
When going in and out, the process felt very fast and hasty, but the responses given afterward were relaxed and calm, making the overall experience seem balanced and controlled smoothly.
A really interesting and informative interview with the amazing team and the great people who helped create this project with the great community and community and team members from across the country and the world and their work is so inspiring
I applied in-person. I interviewed at ALDI (Deal, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Straight forward interview. Aldi didn’t allow me to the next stage of the process. Contacted Aldi recruitment. They don’t care, same with their social media. Company discriminates based on age, race and skin colour. I would avoid working for them.

Question 1
Tells us bit about yourself
Then had a group exercise where I took the lead and completed the task. I was invited to be interviewed for the position. But Aldi blocked me from booking a slot and didn’t even care when I contacted them. Won’t ever shop there again.
