I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Eberstalzell) in Apr 2025
Interview
I would say that the hiring process is too long and time consuming.
I spent more than 1 month in the process, interviewing with HR, the hiring manager, working on study case (not easy), presenting it, to receive a automatic email of rejection.. Aldi could at least send an specific feedback to you so you can do better next time, because we spend time and energy of our lives taking part of that many steps and they simply send you a generic message, I was VERY disappointed.
The phases were:
Interview with HR
Interview with Hiring Manager
Study Case
Interview about the study case with the Hiring Manager
Interview with the Hiring Manager Boss

Question 1
Why do you want to work for Aldi?
What do you like to do in your free time?
Why do you want to move to Austria?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ALDI (Chicago, IL) in May 2021
Interview
The process took around an hour. The interview was fairly technical, with questions regarding SQL and Tableau primarily. Knowledge in R and Python was helpful. Be ready to talk about prior experience.
