I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Exton, PA) in Jan 2024
Interview
I applied online at ALDI (Exton PA) and was scheduled (via email) for a group interview at the store. I had to wait in line for over one hour after arriving 30 minutes early. There were at least 20 other people scheduled at the same time opposed to being staggered 15 minutes apart. I followed all instructions by being prepared for the interview. I researched the company's history, goals, community service, DE &I and brought copies of my resume and list of questions that I prepared. I have now interviewed twice at ALDI for store positions and have over twenty years of retail store and career experience that would enable me to add value and be a major contributor. It was very disappointing that none of the store managers or interviewers expressed any interest in the documents and questions that I prepared. I felt rushed. They informed me that I will get another time to present my documents at the next round of interviews and will receive an update (within a few days) via email on Tuesday. The few questions they asked were very easy and standard. I also informed them how convenient it would be for me to commute to work at this location.

Interview Questions
Availability and reliable transportation to get to work.
I know and understand that ALDI has a great DE&I and EOE program on the website which really peaked my interest to join your company. My question is does ALDI have an issue with hiring someone over 50 years of age? I really believe that I have wasted valuable time preparing to join your company. I am very disappointed with the interview process and my interview experience.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Tampa, FL) in May 2022
Interview
The interview I attended was a hiring event, and several other individuals were present. The manager gave a brief introduction of company values followed by a tour that went over Aldi's store layout, organization, and an overview of stocking procedures. This was followed by a 5 minute interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (Ooltewah, TN) in Sep 2021
Interview
Came in with a group of people, didn't expect that was thinking it was a one on one. Took a tour of the store (Front and Back) Must say the Ooltewah, TN store is super clean and organized. Once done with tour, manager met with each people with only one question. Manager said that you may get called back the same day. Needless to say, I never got a call back. Thinking that 51 is too old since I have not seen an employee over 35 work their.
