First, there was a one-sided video interview where you had to record answers to three questions - What is you favourite Aldi product, describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer and should a job be done quick or well?
After that, there was a phone interview with the hiring manager that lasted about 15 minutes and it was just a basic phone interview with the usual questions such as why do you want to work for Aldi, tell me about yourself etc.
Then there was a 1-on-1 interview with the store manager that lasted about 10 minutes. Those questions were a little more in-depth such as what are your strengths and weaknesses and more detailed questions. Prior to this interview you have to do a medical assessment via a Skype-like software with a physio. It wasn't too hard, mainly just things to test that you can move your body in different positions.
It was a long winded process just to be told you've been unsuccessful by a very impersonal email.
