I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Oct 2018
Interview
The group assessment interview was very quick only 3/5 showed up. It was with the area manager, didn’t really seem interested in the interview mostly was on his iPad. Great pay but they expect you to work double the amount a normal shop would so pretty much you’re doing 2 peoples jobs. Wouldn’t apply for Aldi again.

Interview
I managed to get through to the interview after submitting all my information and taking the online set of questions I was interviewed by the area manager I was told it could take a few days to get an email but I was emailed in less than 2 hours and they invited me to an in-store experience. There were me and two other people the store manager dealt with us this time. He went through some health and safety and showing us around pointing out all fire alarm point's and doors he took us through the warehouse part and around the store. Before all of this we were shown a photo each and we had to point out what we saw wrong in the image and then he gave us a list of codes we had to remember for bananas, avacodos etc . He then asked me to watch the person currently on the till and observe what she is doing. I observed and asked questions and then afterwards he took me to watch someone stocking shelf's I observed and he asked me a few questions we then all went back into the meeting room. He pulled out a test where we at to write down the codes we remembered ingot 4/5 correct. He then asked what we noticed when we observed and what we thought of the job etc. I then had to wait to see if I got the job the area manager called me 2 days later asking me how my experience went and then went on to offering me the job. Which I've accepted.

Interview
The interview process was straightforward. I was asked to select online my answers from a predetermined set of values. Then I progressed to a group interview, followed by a one-on-one interview.
