I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2019
Interview
They called me, and I answered. It was a casual conversation and I was informed of the interview process, they told me about my nearest branch to interview and start potential work
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Birmingham, England) in Jul 2021
Interview
Fairly easy interview done over the phone. Asked about customer experience and role play scenarios, for example what you’d do in a certain situation. Also asked if it sounds like a job you could do because of speed and heavy lifting required
Not very different from a standard interview, sat there talked about why I wanted the job and then sent me to do a store experience which I didn't pass in the end
