Relaxed, friendly, yet informative and professional. Went through the history of the company and then looked at everything they could offer me. All done while maintaining COVID safe procedures throughout.

Interview
The interview process was long, tedious and impersonal. You have to progress through three steps before you even get to talk to a real person and even then it is only on the phone.
When I got through to the telephone interview the interviewer was uninterested and rude. It felt like the interview was over before it had even started.
When I got to the end of the phone call he asked if I wanted to ask him any questions and as I started to reply he interrupted me and rudely said 'don't ask a question just for the sake of it'. Then after I had ask two questions he exasperately said 'any more questions'.
I am really disappointed in Aldi, the way they portray their company ethos seems to be completely different to how they actually treat people.
