ALDI Store Assistant interview questions

Completed the online assessment and was invited to come along for a one on one interview. Interviewer was pleasant although didn't make me feel 100% comfortable unlike other interviewers have done. Completed a quick test after the interview; only had 5 minutes to complete. Then got invited to a work trial for 2 hours. On the day I was with another candidate; we were given health and safety sheets to sign, given a tour then told what jobs to do for the remaining time. Manager was nice, but a little awkward; it was very clear that he thought we weren't working fast enough despite both going as fast as we could with a brand new task. Overall it seemed like a lot of hoops to jump through just for a low level store assistant position and took around 1 month from applying to rejection.

Started off with online application which took awhile somewhere around an hour for me to complete. Next day on Friday got asked to pick a day and time for an individual assessment which only day was on following Tuesday. The individual assessment was basically a very short interview one on one with area manager. Asked about past experience, describe a time when I had worked under pressure, why did I want to work for aldi, what hours I was looking for and how flexible I could be. Two hours later got asked to come in for store experience which is happening tomorrow, hopefully it work out!
