4 stages to the whole process....online application, group assessment, one to one and finally a work trial. First three relatively simple as long as you have done a little homework, whereas the work trial (in my experience) was very unprofessional. Didn't even realise I was due to come in so unprepared, stacking shelves for two hours which I was expecting and I managed this with no trouble at all. Health and safety questionnaire and then was told I would hear within two days. A week later a big standard email saying those famous words "unsuccessful". No reason at all I should not have been successful as the area manager herself told me I had aced the previous stages, and I can only imagine it is a culture of "if your face fits" not if you can do the job itself. To sum up as a whole....unless you either know someone that already works there or are around the same age as the store manager....your wasting your time!
