Interview
I was referred internally, so I was contacted after my resume had been passed around. After I was contacted, an interview date was set. I was passed some questions to review before the interview.
During the interview, we went over the questions to the questions that were sent beforehand as well as a few other personal and technical questions.

Question 1
A full set of questions was given to me - one of the questions asked: "What is a decoupling capacitor?"

Interview
I received a 30-min phone interview from the manager. He mainly asked me questions about my resume. This position may need candidates have background in microarchitecture and some software programming. So he asked me some questions about my experience in C, and also let me introduce some other projects he was interested in. He was very kind and wouldn't let me feel pressure. However I didn't prepare well at that time.

Interview
Through university career networks and apply from there. Usually 8-10 people were selected for interview among all applicants of the same position. Interviews were mostly held on campus or on site, phone interview were possible. Likely, you will be interview by your manager but it is possible that you are interview by a senior team member from the team or a general hiring manager who does hiring for many teams.
