i'd worked there before, so they had a good word from my former manager and colleagues. but they asked the most ticky-tack detail-oriented questions, the kind of stuff that reference texts and google were made for. my experience in solving problems, innovating and leading people were disregarded; instead the decision made on arcane syntax questions about programming languages.

I received an email to schedule a one-hour phone interview. The hiring manager went through my resume and asked questions about previous course projects. He also asked technical questions on logic design. The difficulty of the questions is reasonable. Focus on the basic stuff.

Interview
I submitted my resume online, and about 4 weeks later, I recieved a phone call to do a technical phone screen. 2 weeks after the technical screen, I was called back to setup an onsite interview. The onsite interview was from 9 to 3. It was all technical content wiht 6 people.
