AMD Silicon design engineering intern interview questions

30-45 mins: about my prior research and roles. 15-30 mins: questions about cache coherence, pointer chase, computer architecture. Interviewer was very straight forward, nice and helpful and genuinely interested in my work. In the entire interview, it was at one point where I felt the interviewer wasn’t impressed by my research work (he said something along the lines of “oh that’s not writing the library driver”, but when he heard more information , he seemed interested)
