ASDA Colleague interview questions

Applied online and got invited for ASDA magic, there were total of 20 applicants. ASDA manager explained about the company and then we had to introduce the partner next to us, after that we were given a product and had to sell it to the others.It was a fun activity was a lil stressed at the start but the environment and the people there were very friendly.After that we had a ‘Go’ on the shop floor to see how it is to work at Asda. We were the. Told if selected would be called for interview. I got a call for interview after 2 weeks. Had an one to one interview with the line manager and was selected. Overall experience was great.

I applied for Asda a few weeks back got an email a week ago asking to attend an ‘magic session’ so I went, it was a group session there was meant to be 8 people attending but only me and 3 other people turned up, in this magic sessions we did an icebreaker, you talk to the person in front of you and find out a bit about them then tell the interviewer, we did a small task on the shop floor looking for how many promotions they had on offer then we went back up too the office room and did another small task how to better the store with out going over the budget. At the end of the session they said they’d phone in a few days if your successful on going on for the final one and one interview, I got a call back a few hours later asking me to attend another interview the next day, it was so relaxed they let me go on the shop floor to have a look around and get a feel for it, which was great. After the interview ended I was told I’d know by the end of the week. But I got a phone call later that night telling me I got the job.
