Firstly, I applied online and was then invited to attend an Asda Magic Event. The email said it would last two hours but I was only then for 1 hour. Interview went well, a group of 8 people in a room with about 5 Asda colleagues, the lady told us a bit about Asda and then split us into pairs and we had to write down info and facts about each other eg. Name, fav colour, pets etc. Then split into two groups and had to either write a poem, a song or act out an advert about an item we were given. My group had Chocolate digestives which we wrote a poem about in 15 mins then had to present back to the group. Please ensure to bring your right to work documents eg. Passport or birth cert and ni number or you will be sent straight home without interviewing. The email you get says that you will do 3 processes in one day but this isn't the case. After 1 hour we were sent home and had to wait for a call to say whether or not we had passed the group interview. 2 days later I received a call asking me to come in asap for a 1 to 1 interview. I turned up and I was told to put my bag into a room and go and work for half an hour on the shop floor to see how it goes. I was worried but I was paired up with someone and it went fine. I had to approach a customer and ask if they need any help and I had to answer a few questions about the shop floor on the sheet but it was very easy. I then went in to have my 1 to 1 interview which was fairly easy. I was asked 3 of your usual interview questions. I waited approximately 1 week and had an email to say I was successful but they had nothing for me at the moment but the next day I had a call offering me a 15 hour contract working on the Frozen department.

very well structured, asked interesting questions and asked for insightful knowledge about yourself, discussed role and what to expect on the job and the different tasks i may be faced with and how to overcome the tasks and complete them successfully
