I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ASDA (Edinburgh, Schottland) in Jul 2014
Interview
Group interview with team building exercises observed by a few managers who are taking notes etc, then individual interviews afterwards with normal questions previous experience, what would you do in this situation etc. Pretty straightforward. Had a have a go session, Heard back within a couple of days, got the job etc.
Straightforward interview process minimal hassle. Friendly interviewers with helpful insights into onbaording queries. General questions about previous experience, start date and work pattern preferences. There is room for asking and questions at the end would recommend clarifying your role and what was said in interviews previously. Only one round
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ASDA (Ipswich, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview was over the phone, it was a casual chat. No major in depth questions asked really. It was very quick, straightforward call. No awkward interview questions asked. Very easy interview.
Apply online, wait a while with no confirmation, get called for a (very brief) phone discussion and be asked to come in within the week for an in-person interview. At the in-person interview have no actual questions asked of you, just provide right to work documents. One day get asked to come in for induction the next morning. Get asked to do first shift the next night.
Very unorganised system
Asked to start job before receiving your job offer
