I applied online. I interviewed at ASDA (Doncaster, England)
Interview
Completed an online application which consisted of info about myself previous job history and also a kind of aptitude test with multiple choice answers I received an email to say is been successful to get to the interview 'Asda Magic' stage
At the Asda Magic session we were in a group of people there were 9 in our room we got paired off and given a card with various questions on that we had to ask our partner we then introduced this person to the rest of the group with the information we'd gotten from the questions... We then got put into two larger groups to sell a product which was quite fun and then had an informal type interview before going into the shop floor to find products ask customers if they needed any help and also tidied the shelves ... All in all a very positive experience
I did however unfortunately not get the job I applied for but Asda sent an email informing me they would keep me in their database for the next 6 months and when a post comes up that is suited I should get a call
Ok. A lot of questions though and they don’t really seem relevant to the position. Not sure why you get asked when you’ve gone above and beyond to be honest

Basic questions of favourite item, what good customer service is, team work tasks to complete in a group, when available work sheet, very simple then range a few days later for on boarding
Group session (team building, think we had to make a model etc) followed by short individual interview. There was also bag packing for 20 minute, checking interaction with public etc. It was all fine.
