Good interview questions and approachable staff. Felt at ease and comfortable within the interview and got a good overall understanding of the company and what they are looking for. Would consider applying for future job roles here.
It vaguely resembled a group interview.
After explaineing some values nd basic information about the company, we were grouped in numbers of 3 or 4 with
the people you were sitting with. You were then taken to the shopfloor where you went through a few aisles and asked for anything you noticed. An example was that on the labels, the price was in bold so customers would notice thi first.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA in Aug 2022
Interview
Fairly simple application process, consists of 2 online tests. If you are successful in this, you will be called by the store manager and given some screening questions, then offered a place at a group interview.
The group interview ended up being pretty great, definitely one of the best I've been to. There was a lot of information about the role and I found being able to try stacking the shelves very beneficial for getting a feel of the job. The manager conducting the interview was very friendly.
Unfortunately this is where the good news ends. Despite being told I would be told the results in a "week or so", it has now been 3 weeks with zero communication from the company so I have got the impression that they have either chosen not to or forgotten to inform me. While I am still holding out for some news (either good or bad), it has given me a very negative impression of the company and the respect it shows its workers.
