Interview
A group interview with about 8 people. The interview was very long lasting about 3-4 hours.
We were all a similar age range and carried out team building games which were fun. Next, we went onto the shop floor answering a questionnaire about how the shop was organised.
After the group section of the interview, I had a brief one to one interview with one of the supervisors and was paired up with an employe on the shop floor in which they showed me the basics of what the job role consists of.

Interview
Application process was really simple and was called back for a group interview shortly after. The interview was a disaster - very disorganised. They left us waiting in the staffroom cafe for well over 45 mins without any update as to what was going on. Finally they call us into a conference room and make us informally introduce ourselves to everyone. There was the hiring manager and the line manager present, as well as a deputy manager. They took us on a tour of the store which was very chaotic as it was peak time for shoppers. Feel as though they could have organised the tour a little better because I could tell we were being a nuisance to shoppers. We went back to the conference room where they explained the next task to us. Then they took us to the shop floor in small groups and told us to 'tidy the aisle', and assigned a random worker that was putting some stock away to 'keep an eye' on us. He wandered off and we never saw him again. The manager returned 30 mins later and told us to come back to the conference room. After that, they asked all of us how we found the task and then they sent us on our merry way. No one on interview. No real group work. It seemed as though they forgot they had scheduled this interview and were taken aback when we all turned up on time. Shocking.
