ASDA interview questions

Invited to ASDA Magic assessment centre. First there is a presentation activity, where you speak to people sitting next to you for a couple of minutes and then give a short introduction to them to the rest of the group. Then there is a small group activity, for example we were given a product (beach bag) and asked to come up with unique selling points that would be used in an announcement in store to promote the item. Finally everyone goes down to the shop floor and stacks/organizes shelves for around half an hour. If you are successful they will ask you back for a one on one interview with the department manager, and is fairly informal.

Process begins by completing an online application followed by online assessement. Once completing this there is a wait of about 3/5 days for a call back inviting you to attend a group interview. (This is when you know you have been successful at the online stage). At the group interview you are asked to tell a bit about the person beside you, complete a task to see if you work well within in a team. A risk assessment is carried out for driving where you complete a series of multiple choice questions and hazard perception task a dvla check is also carried out too. After this I was invited to 1 to 1 interview where your asked to give examples of solving a problem, working within targets etc. I was sucessful and was called back on the next working day where I have been advised that my manager to be will be in touch to discuss shifts hrs and about asda best welcome.
