      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Jul 26, 2012
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Jun 2012

      Interview

I went for the ATT Customer Service Assistant testing and was one of the few that passed the testing. During the pretesting meeting, we were shown a brief video of proper dress codes. I arrived 10 minutes early for the interview and waited for her to come from her office. As I waited, employees were coming in for their shifts looking like they just crawled out of bed. Sweatpants, flip flops, completely unappropriate attire for work. When the HR Manager met me, the first thing she said to me was “Once we are done here, don’t come back here looking for any information on your application status, as when you leave here we are done.” I am thinking, if she has already decided this before the interview, then why not just tell me to leave. I answered all her questions professionally and respectfully. She ended the interview and walked out leaving me sitting at the table. About a week later received an email thanking me for my time, but I was not qualified to work there due to my interview.
