This is for AT&T's in-house production team 1876 Productions. I spoke to a recruiter who said they might be hiring for two copy editor positions, but he wasn't sure. They were unsure if they'd promote within for one role, and then just hire for another, or one senior editor and copy editor or two copy editors. I took the copy editing test, and then I didn't hear anything back. When I checked in, they said they still weren't sure how many positions they're hiring for.
That could have been an easier way to say I didn't get the job, but it was very clear that the in-house agency is a bit chaotic with starter-up vibes. They don't know what they need or want, and to me, that suggests an agency that is disorganized and not worth it.
