The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T (Fayetteville, NC) in Jun 2012
Interview
Very basic interview layout. Routinely scripted and smooth. Manager asks personal but friendly questions. It was a nice experience. The one on one interview is the last step and most likely means that you have the job. So if you want the job, go beyond the norm and speak to a store manager and make yourself known and ambitious.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Plano, TX) in May 2012
Interview
Long application. Application ask for resume. Once application is completed you will recieve an email stating yay or nay. ask you to schedule a test. You come in for the test. It consist of math, vocab ?, and a call center simulation and a personality test. They let u know if u pass that day. If so you go in for a interview that day. I passed interviewed that day. Had a great interview but received an email saying i did not have enough experience. If i posted my resume, then why did i waste 3 hours of my time when they already knew how much experience i had. You need a lot of sales for this position.

Interview
The leadership is supportive throughout the interviewing process. They are quick to point out your strengths and question any weaknesses that show up in your resume/work history. Also, they will give you a thorough explanation of your job and your specific responsibilities. All in all, they are straight forward.
