The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AT&T in Mar 2012
Interview
Sent in my resume and was contacted by their Staffing Department to have a phone interview. Was told that the phone interview would take about an hour because it would contain both behavioral and technical questions. Phone interview was scheduled for a few days later and happened as scheduled. Fairly straightforward interview with some technical questions that might stump people who didn't pay attention in college classes. Interview seemed to go well; they said I'd hear back within a few days. Got an offer less than a week after the Staffing Department contacted me to be interviewed.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Mar 2012
Interview
I applied online, and got an email within a week. Set up an interview for the following week. I went to their Midwest headquarters and sat down and spoke with a hiring manager. Just the same old questions. No frills. No calls.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Atwater, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
They first called me in to have a group orientation, where I viewed their presentation of what the job entails, the salary, benefits, et cetera. After the presentation, all of us were given a Intelligence/Skills Test. After the test, I was free to leave. I was called back a week later for a one-on-one interview.
