I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Nov 2013
Interview
Phone interview of behavioral questions, then a skype interview of a situational / case-based interview where you pretended to handle customers' concerns. There was a happy customer and an angry customer. Was given 30 minutes to review background details of their orders. A very different type of interview that I wish I prepared for better.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Port Arthur, TX) in Mar 2011
Interview
I applied online from AT&T's career's website. Within a few weeks, I received a call from a recruiter who sent information for some online assessments. After that there was an interview with the area's human resource manager. This was your typical job interview. Questions about past experience, overcoming problems, where you think you want to go in the next 5 years. A day later I received a call from the area HR Mgr to set up a store visit. This was not an interview but more a let's see if you fit, this is what we do, situation. Within a couple days, the recruiter called back with an offer.
