I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T
Interview
The hiring manager had his head down 95% of the interview, as he entered information into an iPad. I appreciate the technology without a doubt, however, I found this to be unprofessional and distracting, as I was unable to speak to him eye to eye; perhaps he was new to it. Furthermore, I don't know how he "judged" me during the hour long process, as he was typing, yet not paying attention to my behavior, eye contact, smile, etc...just a few attributes significant to the position and expected in an interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AT&T
Interview
ATT/careers.com to set up employment profile with resume. Next, Wait for them to call for testing location. If all test are passed, an over the phone interview proceeds, which is just a personality and skills conference. Not too bad, we'll worth the income it brings.
