I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2009
Interview
I was an internal candidate. So, my process and experience will be different from someone coming in from the outside. Once the offer was made, the leadership team did not want to release me, so they told the hiring manager that he would have to wait for 90 days in an attempt to deny my promotion. Despite the long wait, I did get the position.

Question 1
Most of the interview questions were straight forward and not of the ordinary.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T
Interview
Applying online is the only way to be considered. I had three interviews, with normal questions, nothing unexpected. The background check took forever. They really do try to be supportive while you're on-boarding, but I kept having to ask when I actually had the job so I could give my two weeks.

Question 1
I didn't feel anything was out of the ordinary or unexpected. It was very cut and dried, formulaic. They have a sheet to work from so they just go on to the next question. Fair and painless process.
