I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T (San Bruno, CA) in Aug 2012
Interview
Had 3 Phone interviews before a face to face interview. first spoke with a national recruiter, then the store manager, then the district manager. Then the face to face interview was with an acting store manager and all of them went well.
The interviewer admitted that she was just checking my energy level to make sure I was outgoing. She said she really did not care what came out my mouth because they were going to train me on the product anyways. She wanted an energetic person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just pay attention to the problem solving questions and the weakness questions and answer with confidence.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at AT&T in Jun 2012
Interview
I saw a posting online, so I applied. It was a long application and you have to fill out your past 5 years of employment history. All the regular stuff too, and then a very long (114 question) assessment. Got called 2 days later to schedule a phone interview.
Did a phone interview and was asked if I could go to the store for a "Meet and Greet" about an hour after the interview took place. Went, met with and interviewed with the store manager and assistant manager and it went really well, and was fairly casual. More like a conversation than an interview. Afterwards, met with the DM who happened to be in the store that day as well. Was told I would hear from them within about a week.
Less than 2 hours later, I got a phone call with the job offer, and 5 minutes later, received the official email offering me the position (contingent on background and drug screen).
