I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Bend, OR) in Jan 2010
Interview
Had a few interviews with the then store manager, and one with the district leader, and area manager. Took an online personality test. Had four weeks of training, and then started my job. For the most part you didnt learn your job until you were in the mix. I think the training program could be better.

Question 1
My only wish is that we would have been given more "drive time" on the system. we took a bunch of simulations in training and they're worthless. As for as interview, if you've worked retail you know the job, and what it takes.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
The selection process is a mystery. Although you may have extensive exp, AT&t is more like a cult. That is why I say they are a MLM. They are only after Blood Suckers, who are too dumb to know they aren't making real money.
