I recently interviewed for a Senior Researcher position at a water treatment technology company. The process began with an initial phone screening where we discussed my background in membrane development and desalination systems. This was followed by a technical panel interview where I was asked about specific projects involving reverse osmosis and modeling of brine concentration. They also inquired about my experience with experimental setup design and data interpretation. The interviewers were knowledgeable and engaged, and the conversation felt collaborative rather than confrontational. Overall, it was a well-structured experience that allowed me to showcase both my technical skills and problem-solving approach.
