I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AbbVie
Interview
I was interviewed by Abbvie for multiple internship positions, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response from them for several months despite following up with them via email and phone calls. The recruiters maintained a poker face during the interviews, making it difficult for me to gauge their interest or feedback. I had to confront a recruiter about the status of an interview during a seminar, which finally prompted them to respond. However, their expectations from interns seemed unrealistic, as they appeared to prefer experienced professionals with a decade of experience rather than someone seeking an internship to learn. Ironically, the company failed to manage its hiring process efficiently. Their hiring practices seemed to contradict its claims of valuing diversity and inclusivity, as it appeared to prioritize hiring only from the US. Additionally, they seemed to hire inexperienced freshers rather than take chances on experienced professionals.
