Interview
The interview process was an initial phone screen by hr followed by an interview with the hiring manager and the final stage is a presentation of a clinical paper. I interviewed for 2 roles at abbvie and had a very bad experience. For one of the roles the hiring manager told me that I was going to the final stage which was the presentation but that it would be scheduled after she returned from spring break. I contacted hr almost a month later to let them know that I had another offer but was wondering when that final stage was going to take place. The hr person said they were not moving forward with my application. That was very frustrating because I had spent a lot of time reading all the papers in the therapeutic area and was just waiting for them to schedule the interview. I feel like if they knew they were not moving forward with my candidacy they should have let me know earlier. Communication from the hiring team was very poor.

One 30 minute screening interview with HR, one 30 minute screening call with the hiring managers, one 1.5 hour panel interview with the hiring managers and then one 15 minute interview with HR post meeting.
Vorstellung beim HR, Kennenlernen Manager, Kennenlernen Team, Aufgabe -Vorstellen von Studiendaten, Rückmeldung, Gespräch mit HR. Insgesamt freundlich und strukturiert. Dauert jedoch mehrere Monate. Lange Wartezeiten auf Rückmeldung jedoch normal in der Branche.

Interview process was Smooth top to bottom and I was adequacy informed of everything throughout. Made to feel welcome and at home during the interview and it was a good process overall.
