AbbVie interview questions

I had 1 initial screener phone interview with AbbVie recruiter. 1 formal interview with a case study presentation required for a Marketing role. Lovely people. Professional interview. No red flags at all. Good company.

I am a senior executive assistant with 10 years of experience. A recruiter reached out for the initial screening, which she said would take 20 minutes. 3 minutes into the call, I hear a man’s voice and the slamming of car doors. She rushed me off the phone in the middle of my question. She lets me know that they would reach out in a week if the hiring manager would like to proceed. That day, I get a rejection email (meant for an internal candidate which I am not) and the typical rejection language. I hadn’t even had a chance to learn more about the role or what they’re looking for.
