The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AbbVie (Boston, MA)
Interview
The overall interview process is pretty standard for research scientist position. A seminar followed by team member interview. The timeline is a little bit long (think > 2 month) to get the results due to some internal issue related to this position. Abbvie HR internal recruiter (based in Worcester) I work with is not experienced and lacks some people skills. For instance, she appears to be quite inflexible and condescending when conversing from my personal experience. She also clearly did not read through my resume when interviewing me and made some mistakes in recalling my profile when extending the offer. The compensation package is not competitive compared to the market. She lies that the Abbvie do not negotiate offer when I knew it was false. In the end, I had to give up the position due to the lackluster offer and the bad experience from HR. Final word, if you want to get a good package, you need to switch COMPANY.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AbbVie (South Bend, IN) in Aug 2020
Interview
I sat down with two Abbvie associates who conducted a behavioral interview in which they made me feel very comfortable and made questions that very efficiently connected what I did to how I fit into the position I was interviewing for
