I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Hyderabad) in Jan 2011
Interview
The drive started with a presentation by the HR rep of Accenture, who explained the core values of the company, work culture etc. .
There were three rounds and all were ' No thanks!! ' based rounds, means you could be declined.
The first round was an online test , which , if you are preparing for CAT , can easily crack. There are no technical questions in this round.
The second round was the technical interview, the interviewer was awesome , he made me feel at ease , and started asking from the basic questions , he asked me which was my favourite subject , and grilled me on it for like , 5 minutes only , after that he asked of my least favourite subject ( trick question) and we discussed my hatred of it for 5-10 minutes. After that he asked about my final year project and that was a 'barbeque' time . He asked me like , everything he could. The interview lasted for a total of 45 minutes.
After that was the HR interview, which was fun. This is the easiest round because if you got through the first two , they have most probably hired you , he asked me about my family , offered me a sandwich and chips. We discussed about the company, and career growth opportunities.
After that , we were asked to wait for sometime, and than they announced the results, and gave letter of intents. :)
