If you had a 30-minute interview and were told you'd receive the results immediately after, it means the company likely values efficiency and quick decision-making. This approach can be beneficial for both the candidate and the employer, as it reduces waiting time and allows for quicker progression to the next steps in the hiring process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Cubao) in Jul 2024
Interview
The HR recruiter was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and condescending towards me.
She would ask questions regarding my background and kept on reminding me that I shouldn't apply if I'm not capable enough as if she didn't even check my resume beforehand. I had to state a couple of times that I've had my fair share of experience but her response was "Sir? That does not matter." before proceeding to the next question which blew my mind.
The ASE role is project-based as well. You won't know where you get assigned and they don't care if it's on the other side the region- what's important is you attend regardless of your situation. (This is based on her own words by the way.)
At the end of the interview, she even asked my expected salary range and when I was about to answer, she cut me off stating "No, we can only offer you 20k PHP." LOL. Why even ask at that point if you're going to have a set offer anyways?
I'm an experienced developer and cutting me off mid-sentence just to lowball me left me speechless. This is the first time I've encountered such an unprofessional HR recruiter. I don't even mind being lowballed since companies want to get cheap talent as much as possible, but being rude and condescending was the last straw.
Oh, and if you're planning to apply to this company, take note that they discriminate towards males and non-honor bearing graduates. If you get denied, take it as a sign to run and find a better company.
