I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture in Aug 2021
Interview
A technical sourcer reached out and asked some basic SQL/Python questions which I answered. After a few weeks, a recruiter reached out and scheduled an interview.
The process was a bit disorganized, as when I asked the recruiter if there was stuff I should be familiar with, she didn't know. For example, I asked "is there a specific dialect of SQL" that the interview would be done and she joked that it "was a secret". What? Needless to say I wasn't given a lot of context on the role I'd be working on.
I was even more surprised when someone at Facebook showed up to my Accenture interview....apparently Accenture had someone at FB interview me for the data engineering role.
The whole process was honestly quite confusing.
