I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Kolkata) in Apr 2019
Interview
HR persons in Kolkata office are not deserving. Does not know humility.
They think they are at the top of Earth being an HR for a "very big" company.
I am Lead Software Developer in Java with 6.2 years of work experience, working in IBM.
The interview was all started with an open position in Kolkata.
Initially an HR coordinator called me over phone and arranged a F2F technical session in Kolkata office.
It was fully technical session on Java and it went well. And got to know that I was shortlisted for the next round which was HR round.
Almost after 10 days I got a call from HR team. The person first asked my previous work experiences and then about my salary expectations. Then told that they don't have any opening for Kolkata office, that is awful though since it all started with a position in Kolkata.
Anyway, they told this position is for Bangalore location. I told that is ok. Then they come up with another trait saying they can't offer more than what I am currently getting.
And I had to reject the offer that way.
So its a sheer tactic to do away with a candidate.
Very negative feedback I would give for the processes at the first place.
Suggestions to Accenture and it's HR personnels
Do not take any candidate's time and effort for granted.
If you really do not have open position then do not process with any candidate.
And secondly to the HR personnels in Kolkata, Accenture is not the only company in Earth :)
It was very vague they were taking rounds of 15 mins and at last shortlisted all girls
No boy was selected
The Principal was very biased towards gender and that was very bad
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have an experience of working on salesforce?
Very straightforward questions and answer. Typical know how. You will also be interviewed by the team who you will work with. So 2 sets of interviews. Just be yourself. Some interviewers are also kind enough
They conducted two rounds of interviews. The first round was technical, and the second (final) round was managerial.
I attended both interviews and cleared them. After that, they sent me another email inviting me to attend the first round again, i.e., a skill interview.
I sent a polite email asking whether the message was sent by mistake or if I was required to attend another interview. After that, they sent me a rejection email.
