I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Washington, DC) in Dec 2013
Interview
1. Phone interview - this really is a piece of cake, its mainly to weed out the completely incompetent
2. Online puzzle test - not too difficult puzzles and logic questions. If you fail and they really need people, they won't care.
3. In person soft skills interview - usually with a manager that doesn't really care. As long as you can answer the questions, you will be fine.
4. In person hard skills interview - varies based on who is interviewing you, but expect some simple java/ OOP questions. If you can't answer, talk through the problem and admit that you would google stuff.
The process was 1 online assessment and 1 group interview with 3 panelists. They asked both technical and soft skills questions. Each interviewer asked different questions. The total interview was less than 30 mins.
After assessment, Interview is Initial screening only, nothing technical. Consists of common questions so you should practice. I think most candidates get the job. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.
Interview was nice but it was much technical heavy and the interviewer had asked both the technical and HR related questions and also some general knowledge and current affairs questions.
