Question 1
What's your family background and where do you see yourself after 5 years
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Sep 2023
Interview
ince it was the first interview of my life, I was nervous. It was a group interview where 5 people were called together, 3 girls and 2 boys. I was called amongst all the toppers of my batch and I had scored barely 61% overall. So, more nervousness.
However, the interview was great. I also had a little advantage because I had built an Android app and published it on Playstore, so I had some real world work sample to show.
There were 2 interviewers, a guy and a girl, pretty young I can say. They greeted us and asked if we were nervous. We were then followed by clichéd interview questions. Like, hobbies, tell me about your project, why Accenture etc. Nothing extraordinary. However since my marks were low they asked me why.
Overall, I was lucky I had got such relaxed interviewers because some of my friends told us a different tale altogether.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Accenture (Hyderabad) in Mar 2024
Interview
My interview lasted for an hour, and the interviewer gave positive feedback at the end, even appreciating my skills. However, I was still rejected. During the interview, I thoroughly explained my projects, diving deep into the details. The interviewer asked important, relevant questions, and the overall experience felt positive. I’m unsure why I was ultimately rejected.
The interviewer was very respectful and courteous, even apologizing for being late due to personal issues. I assured him that it wasn’t a problem.
